I've been involved with some writing magazine thing, looking forward to writing a section called "What's in Ming's iPod?"

Really, it's a bit irritating asking me what's inside the pouch I wear on my neck. It's an iPod. Not a camera. iPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODEEEEEEE.

My DC asked me to get rid of it because "it's not part of the school uniform. I lose things and " (running her hands all over herself) "you don't see me wearing anything like that."

I was bit -___________-. I don't know about you but does my pouch look like article of clothing?

And ppl love making comments about the headphones. I think there are still going to be hundreds of ppl telling me how I look like one of those airport tower staff people with the microphone at the side of my head and go away feeling they've been extremely witty and smart today.

While someone's arguing style is still fresh in our minds, a private comment I made to Joel during the rather heated debate during Assembly today:


Most people use the "This is your opinion" card as a sort of springboard so that they can reach higher levels of argument, but with him - he just takes the springboard swings it around his head and expects to win the Gold Medal.

I can't be bothered to blog.

I'm just really really lazy, and I do things when I should be doing something else. Like. I should be doing history, Physics Chem Chinese oh fuck the whole lot of it, and I'm blogging.

I'm procrastinating.

Ding dong.

And I'm really bored.

So far, I've managed to squeeze a short story out of my creative womb and I was really dry so no more writing. I'm tired emotionally.

My piano is improving. I'm taking everything slowly, but for some reason I'm finding Beethoven harder than Rachmaninoff. It's like Rachmaninoff is this whole sluice of running notes, and that's - well - challenging but not unconquerable. For Beethoven, it's incredibly structured. when I played slow, I kinda realized I've playing a lot of wrong notes. Because I'm usually too lazy to play the whole thing so I'll just play then skip about 20 bars then improv a bit to make the two ends fit then play then skip then improv again.

BSC was pretty dull, the highest point being my birthday, and I'm being selfish and self-indulgent but it is. Most of the ppl were so boring and dull I wanted to scream. Most of the time I spent in Beijing was used dodging cameras from cam-whores, and I was not completely successful. I had a few photos taken of me, under protest.

As of yet, and so far, and thus far, at this point, right now, at this moment - I am just waiting and watching. That's all.

-BSC Update

I should've updated but too lazy.

After a week or so, you get to know new ppl and you hang out with them.

That is pretty much the largest thing that happened to me in BSC.

We went to the Great Wall of China and most of us all the way to the top. I got to the top first and I was so pleased with myself I took a piece of rock and wrote my name seven times all over the place.

It's stupid I know, but anw.

Not much has happened. I'm religiously procrastinating. Theron says he's depressed, and he's smiling his ass off right now. Yeah right you're depressed.

I've tried playing scrabble but the internet really sucks like shit. So I often lose. That's one reason why.

We shopped for stuff, Oswald bought a carpet piece thing. Eng Chuan says it's pretty much useless unless you want to have orgies on the floor. With this in mind, I try to listen for the screams of helps next door.

I am now appointed the grand role of secetary and must now faithfully report daily events. I have been given this title under great protests, but obviously no one cares. But still, a mildly enjoyable thing to do, I was planning to do it sooner or later. I shall now try and be obnoxious for the rest of the Beijing stay.

What happened today? I screwed up my iPod. I guess the high-altitude flight to Beijing screwed it up. I am now downloading the software and trying to TRYING TO restore it properly. Unfortunately that means erasing all the data on it. Yay.
